Rosé Pinot Noir

$45.00

Members Only

Lovely & Lively. A serious rosé, if there is such a thing. Drink this first and order more as I believe I only have eight cases left as of today because I have been drinking a bottle per week since being bottled. Lovely aromas of fresh pear and honeysuckle. Entry shows oyster nectar and lemon. Wait a moment and raspberries over river stones. Weird yet wonderful. Fun stuff! All native fermentation in neutral French oak barrels.

2022 Winemaking Notes

This is a purpose-built Rosé: Grapes clusters arrive, whole cluster pressed with lots of solids and then placed in neutral French Oak barrels. Fermentation is all native without any additions other than Mother Nature’s heat to get it to go dry by the first quarter. Obviously this year; Oregon’s wettest spring in decades, plus the coldest April in history, the wine took longer to come around, hence the late release date. This extra slow fermentation resulted in an even more complex wine than previous vintages.
