$500 for up to 6 PEOPLE
Prepayment is required at time of booking, and will be deducted from your wine purchases on the day of your visit.

EIEIO & COMPANY is located in Carlton, Oregon. Jay McDonald, Winemaker & Owner, will lead you on a tour of the facilities, and take you through a fantastic tasting flight. He produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and the occasional (quick to sell out) Rosé of Pinot Noir, and White Pinot. EIEIO offers indoor and outdoor tasting opportunities, and the tasting can run from one up to three hours so please plan accordingly or communicate your time constraints in advance!
Neighboring wineries include Résonance, Carlton Hill, and Chris James Cellars. If you are looking to enjoy an entire day of wine tasting in the neighborhood, it is very possible!
The experience.
Tastings usually begin at the top of the hill with a seated tasting for up to six people in the cottage. Each participant will have six wines in six separate glasses so that you can compare the wines, enjoy them thoughtfully, ask questions, ponder life, etc.
The EIEIO tasting experience includes an abundance of beautiful charcuterie and nosh, so while you are certainly welcome to bring in pre-packaged food or takeout from one of our local restaurants to enjoy after you taste, you probably don’t need to unless you’re craving something specific.
If there are concerns around indoor exposure for health reasons, I am glad to leave you with the bottles to be poured and enjoyed at your leisure, and will keep a safe distance throughout the Q & A.
As the weather and your sense of adventure allow, you are welcome to walk through the trails and enjoy the spectacular vista of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA from the viewing platforms. Grab a bottle and cozy up at the firepit or continue on to the winery’s production facility for barrel tasting if you are interested in exploring wines in progress and staking your claim on future vintages.
There is no dress code here, but most of our guests appreciate their most comfortable footwear to navigate the farm’s many terrains, and layers if it is cool weather.
All of this is included in the $500 pre-paid booking fee. Your payment also grants you a $500 credit towards your wine purchases made on the day of your visit.
Cottage tastings can run from 1.5 - 2+ hours so please plan accordingly.
